INNOVATION FOR SUCCESS

On 29th November, over 90 people made their way through police cordons created due to a fire and suspected gas leak, to attend the Innovation for Success event at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. The event was sponsored by Innovation Valley partners, including the NLCC, who are running a number of projects supporting businesses with innovation and environmental management.

In addition to an excellent view of the pitch via the Directors’ Box, attendees heard Sally Preston, Founder of Babylicious explain how she developed her business, the problems she faced on the way and what makes Babylicious an award winning company. The second speaker, Marian Kelly from The Brewery, discussed branding, using examples of 3 companies facing very different issues, which were addressed through innovative branding and marketing strategies.

At the end of the event we were joined by the North London Print and Design Network and there was an opportunity to find out more about the funding available in the area.
